2. Eq8's Online Presence
Eq8's only official social media channel is its Telegram channel, which is primarily used to share periodic updates on the products and markets where its ETFs are present.
Separately, as part of the Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad ("Kenanga") group, postings on matters concerning Eq8 are at times featured on Kenanga's social media assets on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Aside to above, any other social media account, group, page or channel claiming to represent Eq8 are fraudulent.
3. Stay Vigilant
Eq8 shall never request investors to transfer funds to an individual's personal account. Investors should be cautious of anyone who:
- Promises guaranteed returns;
- Requests payments to personal accounts;
- Seeks sensitive personal or banking information; or
- Uses Eq8's name, logo, or branding to create a false impression of legitimacy.
Verification and Reporting
Members of the public are encouraged to verify investment opportunities through the Securities Commission Malaysia and other relevant regulatory resources before investing. Eq8 has reported previous instances of impersonation and will continue to cooperate with the relevant authorities where necessary.
